Added the crazy train support to the oct 6th gig.

new update from my liaison from the police department: "[my thief] has indeed been in custody. He was brought in on 8-29. He was transferred to the WH in September where he has been since. His current out date is 12-12-09 but they are working on getting him in to a treatment facility but one aw...

Excellent news! I may have to find myself making a trip overseas to line up with one of their shows. Yet another band I never got a chance to see... Now we just need our PD boys to jump on the bandwagon too! FYI, if anyone is interested in some of their vinyl offerings that have (yet) to see CD, I h...

It was brilliant. Simply brilliant. The fundraising itself didn't go so well, so I ended up paying quite a bit out of pocket, but the ride itself was totally worth it. 5 days of cycling through the canadian rockies-saw waterfalls, a bear!, walked around on a glacier, hiked a few miles, swam in hot s...

my new favorite band is called ROME. They're one of those apocalyptic folk bands supposedly, but I hear so much more in their music than that. yes, some acoustic guitar is used ala Death In June, but they are sooo much better than DIJ (and I'm a big DIJ fan) I'll post some links when I'm not at work...

Just talked to a guy at the police station today... He said that my thief FINALLY has a court date on the 25th, and on the 26th, he is going to release the cassette tapes (and hopefully other items) back to me. We'll see! Over a year in the making, with my chronic optimism in place, there may finall...

in 85 i bought my first Christian Death LP. back then i thought L'invitation Au Suicide was a special message from them. I think I had the exact same experience at roughly the same time! I'd never heard of that record label before, and it totally caught me by surprise. IIRC, it was a 2xLP of "...

That's the one. I don't think the tracks are any different to the Clay 12" though (I don't have that). I don't believe they are any different either. they better not be, or I'll have to chase down a copy myself to get them. I also have that 1984 german 7" of Sin of Sins/Propaganda. Do you...

I wish I knew how many of each record were pressed. that would be great info for the discography page. I've no idea how rare that Sacrosanct 12" is. I can certainly tell you that I have never seen it on this side of the pond, otherwise I would have bought it! I have seen multiple copies of the ...

Done!

thank you very much for the sponsorship.
I really feel bad that I've let this place go for a bit. It's always on my mind, just never on my calendar to do any work to it. Stick with me though, I've got more bootlegs and other goodies to upload someday.

I'm wearing my PD shirt today...

I honestly swear on my mother's not yet filled grave that I will put all the money you send (and probably even more) directly into the bo...

jeff is fundraising (wtf?!)

ok, i feel really weird and awkward about doing this, especially in this time of our economic meltdown here in the states. this has absolutely nothing to do with play dead at all, and i humbly apologize for being totally absent from the site here for the past several months. i feel even worse that i...

Yeah, so here we are on the 1 year anniversary of the arrest and capture of the thief, and... nothing. oddly enough, on march 30th, i was summoned to an awards ceremony for "outstanding neighborhoods in their efforts to fight crime" where I and a dozen or so other community groups from aro...

Whats happened to the guy?? Not sure yet. According to the cops, he *finally* had a court date set on Feb 16th of 2009. I have not heard yet if he showed up or what the outcome was. He has a habit of not showing up for court apparently, so they come to his house (about 1 block away from me) arrest ...
