My Into The Fire DVD Is Dying
My Into The Fire DVD Is Dying
My "Into The Fire" DVD has bubbles appearing under the "disc skin?" I'm not sure what happened. I was about to rip the whole DVD to back it up just in case, then I discovered it was dying conveniently. Is this happening to anyone else? It's six years old... is this normal for DVDRs?

It depends on the quality of disk. I have some Verbatim and Ritek ones that have lasted over ten years but some other such as Ricoh only last a couple.
If you can transfer it, try and get it onto a Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim/Mitsubishi but check that the latter are made in japan and not Singapore or India.

Those serial numbers can be found in software like DVDdecrypter or Imageburn.
